Beautiful Asus VivoBook E12 Laptops Unveiled

Asus has launched a swish pair of new laptops featuring a portable 11.6-inch display offering resolutions of 1366 x 768 pixels to their range of VivoBook systems, with the launch of the Asus VivoBook E12 E203NA and VivoBook E12 E203NAH.

Whilst no pricing has been announced as yet some options for processing power have including either an Intel Celeron N3350 dual-core or Pentium N4200 quad-core CPU. Major differences between the two systems are about the E203NA has eMMC flash storage, while the E203NAH has a spinning hard drive. Asus has also provided the option to either install Windows 10 Home or Linux Endless OS, which is an Ubuntu-based GNU/Linux operating system.

Other features include connectivity via support for 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 as well HDMI, microSD card reader, 2 x USB 3.1 Type-A ports and 1 x USB 3.1 Type-C port. As soon as Asus offer more details about availability we will keep you up-to-date as always.

  1. I am currently thinking about purchasing the 32 GB eMMC version and deleting the pre-installed Windows 10 (as we have no alternative with pre-installed Linux here in the Czech republic) and thinking about installing Xubuntu 18.04. I think it should work just fine.
